40 hours per week

08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday

08:00 – 13:00 Fridays

A fantastic opportunity for an important full-time position at a distributor of motorhomes and caravans as a Logistics and Customs Operative within a small and friendly team. Similar experience would be of benefit but is not necessary as all required training will be provided for all platforms and procedures. Showing capability and aptitude will lead the successful candidate’s role to grow in responsibility and scope.

Main duties and responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for organising transport of goods from our factory located in EU to dealerships in GB.

  • Requesting all required import (and on occasion export) documentation from our customs agent.

  • Recording all processes, information and documentation in Excel.

  • Some reporting to HMRC.

  • Electronic and physical filing.

  • Answering telephone and email queries and enquiries from our dealerships.

Key skills: 

  • Generally IT literate.

  • Proficient with using Microsoft Office, most importantly Excel.

  • Capable and clear communicator.

  • Organised, methodical and process minded.

  • Responsible, trustworthy and conscientious.

  • Calm, self-motivated and shows initiative.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £28,000 per annum
