Coral 670SU owners – Mark & Gaynor Evans
We spent a long time searching for our ideal motorhome and eventually found exactly what we were looking for in the rear lounge Coral 670 SU model from the Adria range. The upholstery and the general finish was far superior to any of the other makes of motorhomes that we found. We delighted in enjoying the vehicle and this was extended when we joined Club Adria and went on rallies.
During the day we are able to use the full length of the vehicle and not give up half to a bedroom. The options to have single beds, double or kingsize far outweighs the need for making up of bed(s) and facilitates easy entertainment of friends whatever the weather. We have had 8 people seated in the rear lounge, comfortably, on a few occasions.
I like to cook on the motorhome, unlike a lot of Europeans, and find the preparation area of the kitchen limiting. We have managed to buy a barbecue that fits snugly under the sofa that allows outside cooking when the weather is fine. The kitchen area gets a bit cosy when someone also needs to use the bathroom, with the bathroom door being opposite the cooker. The full size fridge / freezer is excellent, especially when abroad but a permanent siting for a microwave would be a boon.
The storage facility is excellent: there is plenty of internal cupboard space all around the vehicle and the large boot space with large doors at each side makes access and storage superb.
Compact SL owners – Brian & Linda Horswill
We have had our new Adria Compact SL Plus for 3 months now and are delighted with it.
The layout is exactly what we wanted, with the front dinette, single beds and garage.
I find the dinette seats and table so comfy to sit at, both for eating meals and reading or laptop work.
The single beds are supremely comfortable, especially with Duvalays on them and it’s lovely to be able to retire to bed without having to convert from settees. Our expensive touring bikes are enjoying a life of luxury too, inside the spacious heated garage every night.
The kitchen and bathroom live up to the compact name of the ‘van but we’re finding them both perfectly adequate.
We think the designers have done a great job with unbelievable lighting, excellent storage compartments and a lovely contemporary feeling within the ‘van.
There have been a couple of minor equipment issues but these have been quickly resolved by our dealer, Dinmore Leisure.
We aim to use our motorhome every month of the year and have had two frosty trips away already, but we’ve been toasty warm inside and look forward to many years of happy motorhoming in it. Well done Adria.
Sun Living Lido M46SP Owner – Noel
Having previously owned 2 Adria motorhomes, the last one being a 2007 Adria Vision 1.17, we looked at the new models at the NEC show in Feb 2015, but it was a Sunliving model which caught our eye. However none were available all sold. We then saw an advert for one in Derby, by Geoff Cox. Living in Jersey its no simple task to shop around, but we negotiated by phone and came to a deal. We took delivery in July 2015 of our Sun living lido m46 sp. We have been thrilled by its comfort, practicality, storage, insulation, drive and looks.
We have been on 3 long tours with it, one travelling around the UK, including attending the national in May last year. The other 2 tours were around Europe. The last one was for 7 weeks travelling from St Malo in France to the Alsace region, then into Switzerland and the French Rhone Alps visiting many lakes, as we love the scenery and getting out in our kayak. Then down to the Med at Port Grimaud for plenty of beach, walking and cycling. Then on to Bordeaux, Royan, Nantes, Dinan and back to St Malo.
Vision owners – Kevin & Jane Randall
Problem Solving – going some extra miles!
If you are unlucky enough to find that your motorhome has developed a serious problem, as Kevin and Jane Randall did in October 2011, their story should reassure other Adria owners that the Adria network is there to make sure that everything will turn out alright in the end.
Kevin and Jane purchased their Adria Vision in the spring of 2009. It was just under two years old, and it was love at first sight, with Kevin being particularly impressed with the size of the garage! Since then, they have spent many happy weekends pottering around Devon and Somerset, with longer trips to Cornwall and Wales – as Kevin runs a small business, he is reluctant to go away on holiday for more than 10 days!
Soon after returning from a very enjoyable tour around Wales in late summer 2011, ten days mainly spent on heritage railways (his choice!) and visiting castles (hers!) Kevin noticed a problem on the seam joining the front and side panels on the driver’s side. ‘Wavy-navy’ was a good description of what the side panel looked like along the seam, and it was obvious that the wood underneath had developed a serious problem!
Because they had transferred the 5-year warranty when the motorhome was purchased however, Kevin contacted the dealership, confident that they were covered for this sort of situation. They said that they would look into it, but were not sure that this type of bodywork problem would be covered. Naturally Kevin and Jane started to feel a bit anxious as a couple of weeks passed by, and, having received an email from the Adria Owners Club Chairman on another matter, Kevin replied and told him the tale.
This produced a startling response – less than a day later the phone rang, and the dealer was asking them how soon they could get the vehicle to them, as it was booked on a low-loader later that week to travel all the way back to the Adria factory in Slovenia to be fixed! Kevin and Jane spent the next day discovering quite how much ‘stuff” they were carrying in the motorhome, and how much room it took up when it was stored indoors! But it was a small price to pay, and the stripped-down vehicle was sent off at the end of October, and returned just before Christmas, as good as new – better in fact, as both front seams had also been securely covered with a protector strip.
“We are really grateful to everyone involved..” commented Kevin,”..you don’t get better service than that, and it also showed the benefits of the Owners Club. It just makes us even more pleased that we chose an Adria motorhome!”
Twin 500S owners – John & Geraldine Stamp
Geraldine and I purchased our Adria 500S Twin from Geoff Cox, Derbyshire in 2015 and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed it since. Whether in the France or the good old U.K. In the Peak District or Sussex we and our two dogs have a wonderful time.
The Adria is a great piece of kit, comfortable and flexible and the after sales service through Coxs is really really good. We’ve owned Adria caravan and now the Motorhome and we are so happy we are off to Slovenia!
Sun Living Flexo SP owners – David & Sandra Whitford
We became the proud owners of this Sun Living Flexo SP in May 2014. Here it is sitting on our driveway for the very first time. After a wait of nearly 8 months we were amongst the first in the UK to own a Sun Living. Some two and a half years later we are still in love with this great little camper van which is based on the Adria Twin. It has taken us to several locations in the UK and France and next year is taking us to Slovenia where it was manufactured. With Adria build quality it represents such great value, hence the reason we were attracted to the vehicle.
Here we are enjoying our first outing in 2014 at Clippesby Hall in Norfolk. This was the first of many fantastic outings. As ex caravaners we took to motor homing like a duck to water. I have truly lost count of the sites visited since our first outing.
One of the main advantages of owning a Sun Living, compared to some other comparable motor homes, is that it gains you access to Club Adria UK. We discovered this Club by accident but so glad we did. There are now several Sun Living owners in the Club but we are proud to say that we were the first to be welcomed by Club Adria as members. £15 a year gets you on organised rallies (including foreign travel), help and advice, a Members’ forum for selling unwanted items or vehicles, access to caravan & motorhome finder, free entry to the Caravan Shows at the NEC and other advantages e.g. for a couple of years we have enjoyed subsidised rates at the CC National Rally. All of this is nothing compared to the friendships you will surely find waiting for you at this fantastic Club.
Twin owners – Dick & Lyn Saunders
Just one of the very many wild open spaces that our Adria has taken us to. We feel very privileged to have been able to see this wonderful view in Exmoor National Park UK.
